The role of Mallpk.com may be defined as a facilitator of e-Commerce, providing access to authorized merchants to use Internet Merchants Account, the architecture and logistics of Mallpk.com, enabling them to carry out their business on Net.
A Merchant may be a business or an individual possessing good reputation, dealing in sale of branded products of their own, or those of any other manufacturer, having appropriate rights by the manufacturer/producer.
Merchants may acquire and run their e-Shops at Mallpk.com under following terms and conditions:

The e-Shops are non-transferable.

The setup fee and all other fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Merchants are bound to follow Citibank's Internet Merchants Agreement, along with future amendments.

Tariffs of shops and per transactions charges are subject to change.

Mallpk.com reserves the right to approve or reject any merchant's application.

The municipal, provincial government and federal government laws, rules and regulations, or any lawful orders or directions of court would have to be obeyed by all merchants.

Products not allowed for sale at Mallpk.com are:

Jewelry
-
Antiques
-
Perishable items (unless packed in air-tight tin packs)

Intangibles (like software, services)

Firearms
-
Illegal items (like narcotics, liquor, pornography material, products that create religious, provincial, communal or political unrest, hatred or resentment or products that may give rise to religious, racial and/or sexual violence, products that can be considered disparaging, defamatory, libelous, threatening or resulting in an invasion of privacy) would not be permissible. Also products that provide instructional information about illegal activities or physical harm or injury to any group, individual, institution or property, or encouraging illegal or criminal activities would not be placed in the e-Shop.

Merchants are advised to provide the best possible quality of products, customer service and after sales support to their customers.

In the Product Catalog of e-Shop, merchants have to provide sufficient product details, including:

Material used in preparation of the product

Type of finishing, and other details

2 product pictures (in gif or jpg format) of each product: The small one would be a thumbnail, which shall not be bigger than 200 X 150 pixels and a bigger version of the same picture, which is intended to show more product details, shall not be bigger than 380 X 300 pixels.

The dimensional display of the products: quality, weight, color, make, country of manufacture, etc.

Manufactures specifications, operations, maintenance, instructions, warranty and liability would be placed wherever necessary.

Price in Pak-Rupees (including insurance & all taxes)

Courier charges will be borne by the customers and will be paid to courier by Mallpk.com

Courier charges for various levels of service and destinations.

Merchants are required to prominently display on their e-Shops:

Merchants must properly and accurately observe the functionalities of their e-Shops and make sure that all the systems of their e-Shops run perfectly. Incase of any problem, merchants are to inform the admin of mallpk.com immediately.

Merchants with administrative rights to their e-Shops are bound to follow "e-Shop Administration Policy".

There can be an unlimited number of transactions per day, but not exceeding Rs. 30,000 each.

Merchants are required to issue a Consignment Challan (CC), provided by Mallpk.com, along with every delivery to the courier.

Merchants are required to keep proper
records/references of all transactions and proof of all deliveries from the courier service.

Merchants may not sell any product, other than the approved ones. If a merchant wishes to add any new product or category in his e-Shop, he has to acquire a prior approval from Mallpk.com.

Merchants are encouraged to use the official courier of Mallpk.com, however Mallpk.com shall not become a party.

Cross cheque to merchants against their sales shall be made as per mutually agreed time period.

Payments to merchants will be made on 5th and 20th of every month against the transactions which are agreed period old, after deducting:

Merchants are bound to follow the
Charge back policy set forth by Merchant Bank (Citibank).

Merchants will not notify an order as "Consigned" until they receive receipts from the courier service signed by customers.

The Merchants will not offer or accept any order, which is out of stock.

If the Merchants are unable to deliver any product within the committed time limit, they have to inform their customer about the confirmed time of delivery. If the customer wishes a refund, the same shall be given willingly.

The Merchants have to make sure that every order must be handed over to the courier in its totality, and no partial consignments are to be made due to back ordered or unavailable items.

Mallpk.com is not responsible to settle any disputes between merchants and customers.

In case of any dispute between customers and merchants, the decision of Merchant Bank (Citibank) shall be final and binding upon all the concerned parties.

In case of genuine complaints from customers, pertaining to miscommitment, mishandling or malpractices of an e-Shop, Mallpk.com reserves the right to stop the operations of that e-Shop.

Mallpk has the latest technology to keep backup of all data with complete security. However e-Shop holders are also required to take regular backups of their e-Shops and Mallpk.com will not be responsible for loss of data due to any incident, calamity or natural disaster.

In spite of the fact that Mallpk.com has employed the latest and the best security systems, still Mallpk.com shall not be held responsible for loss or leakage of non-public data due to unforeseen incidents.

Merchant Services offered at Mallpk.com are authorized and backed by Citibank N.A as a Merchant Bank. All services offered at Mallpk.com are subject to the policies of Citibank N.A. Pakistan and the Government of Pakistan.
